Maker Track

Applications for the Maker track are now closed. Please check back in early 2025 for information on next year's program and application.

WHAT TO EXPECT
 

In addition to these activations, Makers will have access to educational workshop sessions under the CO.STARTERS program. The workshop is fully subsidized and features an intensive, 2-day course in the spring to help educate early entrepreneurs and provide helpful tools to support them in their business journey.

MAKER

The Maker Track is for Colorado-based retailers looking to develop their business literacy and expand their brand before operating a storefront. Entrepreneurs interested in the Maker Track must have a physical product. Maker Track support includes opportunities to sell their products  in the following activations*:

  • Summer markets at Denver Union Station

  • Summer markets at Skyline Park

  • Holiday market at Denver Performing Arts Complex and Denver Union Station

 

*activations subject to change

Applicants interested in the Maker Track must meet the following requirements:
  • Be a consumer product retailer (no food & beverage)

  • Maintains a website and social media presence for their business

  • Must have a physical product (preferably produced in Colorado)

  • Be in good standing with all state and local taxing and regulatory authorities

Applicants must share:
  • State of Colorado Certificate of Good Standing 

  • Up to five photos of two products being submitted for consideration

  • Description of applicants business journey (max. 500 words), e.g., how and why the maker applicant developed the product idea, where they are in their retail business formation, moments of success and challenge

  • Profit and Loss Statement or comparable financial statement to demonstrate annual gross revenue of less than $200,000 in 2023.
